Java JOY

Java JOY is one of JOY's free small group events for women. We meet the first Thursday evening of every month (September - May) to discuss topics relevant and interesting to women and the issues we face. Java JOY provides a great venue for local women to share their stories and encourage, inspire and give hope to other women.

December Java JOY... "Advent and Other Lessons in Waiting" with Katie Logan

There are many times in life when we would rather fast forward to "get to the good part," but God tells us to patiently wait. Why? What if the waiting is painful? What if we can't see the purpose?

At our December Java JOY, Katie Logan will share her love of the Advent season - a time of hopeful waiting in the four Sundays leading up to Christmas - and the story of her Grandmother's 10-year battle with Parkinson's and dementia that often left her and her family asking "Lord, what are we waiting for?"

This is the last Java JOY of 2019, so we'd love to see you there!
